Lucknow: An important meeting was organized in LDA’s Parijat Auditorium under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Dr. Roshan Jacob regarding the projects run by Smart City and the heritage work being done by Lucknow Development Authority.
On this occasion, LDA Vice Chairman Indramani Tripathi, Municipal Commissioner Inderjit Singh and other concerned officials were present. First of all, the Divisional Commissioner expressed displeasure over the quality of the jogging track under construction at KD Singh Babu Stadium not being up to the standard and imposed a penalty against the working agency UPRNN and directed to register an FIR against the concerned.
She said that the jogging track under construction should be demolished and the jogging track should be constructed again with quality.
The Divisional Commissioner instructed the concerned officials that the concerned officials should themselves regularly check the quality of Taekwondo Hall, Volleyball Court, Cricket Practice Pitch. Finishing of the volleyball track should be done properly.
The area outside the boxing ring should be labeled. The concerned informed that the civil works of lighting, handball court and toilets of cricket stadium have been completed 100%. He gave strict instructions to the officers of the concerned working agencies and said that any kind of laxity in the quality of the works under construction will not be tolerated.
After the above, the Divisional Commissioner was informed by the concerned officers that under the Smart City Scheme, the entire work of Lazeez Gali has been completed in the upgradation and beautification of Hussainabad Heritage Zone.
